ABOUT ALBEDO JAZZ
How much light can be reflected? All of it? How sure is the figure - how 'true' the reflectivity - of a mirror? How true can an artist be, to what they really hear? What is the true purpose of creating and performing music? The age-old argument of idealogies versus making money comes into play here. It may be said that the 'pure' artist serves the music (song, lyrics, groove, solo note choices, etc.), whereas the secular working musician's gotta do whatever to pay the bills - or sing lot's of blues! Play to the crowds...
In real life, there are balances, but in the case of Albedo, we are not trying to 'entertain'.  On the contrary, we are wanting to worship in Spirit and in Truth - the beauty of each note choice, that energy level in the groove, the chord structure such that the soul is moved as the progression moves, that moment of insight when the music is inspirational and the listener is somehow translated to the throneroom with the Father...these are the reasons of being for Albedo. If music is an auditory analogue to light in the EM spectrum, then Albedo exists to reflect as much pure light as is received at the moment of the music. I hope, as the group founder, and the different artists comprising Albedo at different times surely hope, that you receive that unadulterated light, and let it illuminate your soul.
Wishing true PEACE, from the Prince Of Peace, to all who listen...

 Sincerely,

 Thomas D. Curtner

 John 1:9
He [Yahshua] was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.

 Matthew 5: 14-16
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven..."
